What it means
The ECU detects a fault associated with boost pressure sensor A or its circuit. Follow the vehicle-specific diagnostic procedure: some manufacturers also use this code for boost-control deviations, so pressure hoses, sensor ports and the mechanical boost system may need checking even without P0236.
